It looked solid but could be seen crumbling even with very slight impact.

 

Experiment results

This phenomenon occurs when the bentonite itself, which should absorb moisture, is of poor quality. Crumbled clumps are not only troublesome to clean, but the expanded exposed surface cannot trap odors. Over time, it releases the absorbed moisture and spreads tiny particles, contaminating surrounding sand. In such cases, it becomes very difficult to separate the contaminated sand.

 

AROPET sand

Bentonite sand specially blended with 15 years of research hardens instantly, so we applied ammonia solution to several spots at once for the experiment.

Using the highest-grade American bentonite available on Earth, you can see that it clumps firmly and stays that way for a long time.

 

Even if you take it out and press hard or try to break it on purpose, it doesn’t crumble easily.
The outside is hard, and the inside stays dense and firm.

This blending technology is offered in various ways depending on the use, through recipe research.
