INNOBIZ Certification for Innovative Small and Medium-sized Enterprises
INNOBIZ is a combination of the words Innovation and Business, referring to small and medium-sized enterprises that have secured competitiveness through technological superiority. The government supports INNOBIZ companies, which have technological competitiveness and future growth potential, by connecting them with technology, funding, and marketing opportunities, fostering them to become internationally competitive companies.
The selection is based on technological competitiveness and internal capabilities through research and development, emphasizing future growth over past achievements. Globally, there is a new focus on enhancing the competitiveness of companies and countries through technological innovation. Advanced OECD countries like the U.S. and Germany have been providing full government support for small and medium-sized enterprises as a core of national competitiveness since 1995, and these are compared as objective measures of competitiveness between countries.
AROPET Co., Ltd. was selected based on the criteria by the Korea Technology Finance Corporation's on-site evaluation results and was certified as an innovative small and medium-sized enterprise (INNOBIZ).
● Technology Innovation System Evaluation (out of 1,000 points): 700 points or more
– For self-assessment (pre-evaluation), the evaluation indicators are applied as-is and assessed by professional evaluators from the Korea Technology Finance Corporation.
● Individual Technology Level Evaluation (10-grade system): B grade or higher
– Individual technology level evaluation consists of 4 areas (owner’s technical ability, technicality, marketability, business feasibility and profitability) with about 34 evaluation items.
* Individual technology level evaluation grades are composed of 10 grades: AAA, AA, A, BBB, BB, B, CCC, CC, C, D
